【Product Story】
Craigellachie (Rocky Hill) lies in the very heart of Speyside where the two rivers that are synonymous with the whisky industry run through – the river Spey and the river Fiddich. The distillery overlooks the junction of these two rivers and personifies the typical Speyside flavour profile, but with added punch! The cask finish provides a stunning layer of depth.
【Tasting Notes】
Summary – Typically muscular and bold Craigellachie with a spicy finish reminiscent of cracked black pepper
Nose: Grain/ malt heavily prominent as expected with a Craigellachie
Palate: Vicsous, a real adventure into malt and the uniqueness of a distillery that still cools spirit in worm tubs – a big flavour profile is apparent
Aftertaste: Chewy, thick and bold, what would be expected from an 8yo Craigellachie, a Speyside delight!
