Deep dark ruby-garnet with an opaque core and a transparent rim. An intense bouquet exudes aromas of cornel cherry, dried plum, turkish honey, smoke, spice, damp forest floor and balsamic notes. Compact, powerful and heady, yet still well balanced. Sweet juicy, macerated amarella cherry coats the palate and remains persistent on the finish. This is quite a versatile wine in the style of an italian Amarone with the flair of exotically spiced Austrian grape varieties.
