TATOR is an ancient messapian god of obscure origin, like the primitivo grape, whose charater is ditinguished by its strenght and bonding with the surrounding territory. This wine is made from primitivo grapes and it is still produced using the rules of the old apulia massari, to whom the image on the label is dedicated. It is an ethereal wine, very intense and complex on the nose, powerful, elegent and strutured in the mouth, which evocatively suggests the soul of the acient wines and the current prodution techniques.
【Tasting Notes】
Color : Intense and very bright ruby red, very consistent in the glass. Nose : Ethereal, intense, complex and very elegant on the nose with sensations of wild berries, black cherries, red currant flower, fresh violet, aromatic herbs like rosemary, licorice, spicy hints of black pepper, cloves and star anise, on a bottom of graphite and fern. Palate : Smooth, full bodied, powerful and elegant, well balanced despite the alcohol percentage and unbelievably persistent on fruity and spicy tones. Food pairing : First courses of pasta with boar or hare sauce, stews, roasted lamb and medium aged cheeses.
