Régis and Eric Lartigue are the descendants of two wine-growers generations. In 1989 they took over the family property and decided to extend it. Château Lacour Jacquet is taken its name from the pilgrims on their way to Saint James of Compostela, coming from Blaye or Soulac, who gathered together in this courtyard, before the sixteen century. This traditional winery is located between Margaux and Pauillac, on the famous “Route des Châteaux” of the Médoc.
Deep garnet colour with violet hints. The bouquet is expressive and thick, marked by an aromatic complexity. On the palate, the attack is round, fleshy and lively. The wine is powerful, fresh and well-balanced. The finish is harmonious with tannins which foresee a good evolution in the next few years.
