【Product Story】

Blair Athol distillery was originally founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson under the name of 'Aldour distillery’ making it one of the oldest legal whisky-making sites in Scotland – the distillery later changed its name to Blair Athol which stands in the picturesque town of Pitlochry, the gateway to the Highlands.

【Tasting Notes】

Nose – Rich treacle, malt loaf.
Taste – Rich sweetness which rushes to the mid-palate initially with an over-arching sweetness around the mouth with subtle marzipan and nutty notes persisting.
Finish – Enjoyed at cask strength – a classic highland style with a decedent finish, long lasting and sweet.
