【Product Story】
A Peated Highlander! The Ardmore distillery sits at the highest point of the Northern railway line, 600 feet above sea level. The railway line allowed founder Adam Teacher to transport materials from Glasgow to this remote corner of Aberdeenshire, helping the distillery flourish.
【Tasting Notes】
Nose – smoke is prominent, yet enhanced by the cask finish, almost making this like an Islay whisky on the nose
Taste – incredibly sweet on the front, no doubt aided by the cask finish. The smoke is more prominent on the nose; however, it is calmed down with the cask finish providing a sweet long-lasting finish
Finish – A rich, full bodied finish with light wisps of smoke, enjoyed at cask strength
