SCOTLAND CANE & GRAIN 2013 LINKWOOD 60.1%

Linkwood was established in 1821, but only started production in 1824. It has remained in production ever since, with regular upgrades taking place, most significantly in 1972 when a new distillery was built opposite the old buildings.

Nose: Light, airy and floral like a fresh summer day, slight pepper note on the end

Palate: an incredible sweetness is immediately apparent, developing into a salivating experience at cask strength

Aftertaste: Sweetness lengthened into a slight spiciness at the conclusion at cask strength, which will dissipate with the addition of water
