160 years ago, the family’s first still began distilling a nectar now renowned the world over: Cognac. By the gentle alchemy taking place in the distillery, the precious white wines from the family vineyards were transformed into cognac. As the wines were heated for long hours over a wood fire, they filled the distillery with the sweetest of scents, both complex and enchanting.
【Tasting Notes】
Color : An orange robe with brilliant tinges of amber. Nose : A perfect limpidity with an almost syrup-like viscosityne. An extremely expressive nose, which delicately reveals the fragrances of prune, walnut and dried figs with underlining woody-vanilla notes and a rancio, which all then fusions into one, giving this beautiful aromatic complexity. Mouth : The moment the cognac touches the palate, the astounding creaminess will reveal itself. Then, the aromas of dried fruits shall progressivel invade the palate giving way to a lenghty finish, which allows us to marvel at the gorgeous tannic structure of the cognac.
