160 years ago, the family’s first still began distilling a nectar now renowned the world over: Cognac. By the gentle alchemy taking place in the distillery, the precious white wines from the family vineyards were transformed into cognac. As the wines were heated for long hours over a wood fire, they filled the distillery with the sweetest of scents, both complex and enchanting.
【Tasting Notes】
Color : Golden and light mahogany hue. Nose : Intense vanilla oak notes but very smooth. Flowery scents like narcissus and jasmine with balsamic odour close to cedar wood. Mouth : Delicate tobacco and cigar box smells. Spicy notes like nutmeg. Great structure, rich in vanilla oak on the palate. Tastes and aromas are well-balance.
